Swim-A-thon
The Swim-A-Thon, BEST's main fundraiser, will occur on
Picture Day, Thursday, June 17.
Swimming will occur during that day's regularly scheduled morning
practice time. The exception is for the 13-18 year
olds.
Swimmers 13 and over will do their Swim-A-Thon during
practice on Wednesday, June
16 due to pictures occurring during their
practice time.
Registration News for 2010
As a slight change from years past, swimmers
must have all paperwork turned in by the first dual meet if they
wish to compete. This includes online B.E.S.T.
registration and volunteer signup. It also includes the
Parent Contract (signed by parents and swimmers), refundable
volunteer deposit ($300 made to Boulder Elks Swim Team), and BVSSL
Registration Form - these get mailed to Jenny Askey.
In the past, the League Registration Forms were
collected just before Prelims. This year, swimmers will only
be allowed to swim for points in dual meets if they have submitted
that signed League form (one for each swimmer).
Paper copies of the B.E.S.T. Family Contract
and BVSSL Registration Form can be found under the "Documents" tab
